Weekly Junior Sessions
Please check timings/durations with Richard Avery. Junior sessions are in a state of flux at the moment.Junior sessions are held on Saturday mornings. Currently they run from 10:00 to 12:00.
- 1000 - 1100 Beginners (Mini Squash)
- 1100 - 1200 Intermediate (Improver Level)
The cost for each session will be £20.00 for members, and £25.00 for non-members for 6 sessions. Sessions will normally run for 6 contiguious weeks, with a week off between each 6 week period. As it is mainly Richard doing the coaching, it may not quite work out that way! Coaching will run throughout the season from Sept/Oct thru to April/May time. We should have the services of a world-class pro to provide coaching assistance till Christmas. We are also thinking about the possibility of providing some mid-week sessions.
We follow the Mini Squash, Development Player Awards and Top Player Awards that form part of the National Coaching Scheme and are a means of developing players through a programme of skill testing and development.
We have two Level 2 coaches and many helpers, some of whom are working towrds their Level 1 qualification. We also hope to bring in some top-level coaches from time to time.

County Juniors
Our juniors are actively involved in the county scene. There is a logical progression through county junior training events to the county teams. Beyond that, there is the regional Area Academy and minisquads which aim to develop young players up to national standard. Currently, two of our juniors regularly attend the Mid West Area Academy and mini squads, and one of them plays for the region.
